In my opinion LOVE is something wonderful.
Is something one feels about oneself and the beings that surround him.
It's like food....
I agree! But don't you think department stores profit from that feeling? Oooops! Remember, "It's/us" would be better than "Is/him" on your writing =)Thanks for your opinion anyway.
I think that it is a part of the consumerism, because the love can be demonstrated every day of the year. The love is wonderful.

That's true. Remember: when we talk in general terms, we don't use "the". LOL
in my opinion: Love and consumption go hand in hand.But in the end love prevails over all.
